It is my interest to explore traditional painting techniques used mainly during the Baroque period, those recipes that give a character of Alchemy to the preparation of the means tested to last beyond a short-lived human life, to incorporate them into a language where my intention is to privilege the naked brushwork, recording the initial gesture that falls on the raw material to evoke rather than represent. This allows the image to be completed in the mind of the observer, the viewer from his own subjectivity, concluded by invoking the creative process in painting, the dormant spirit, the weight of the skin and meat.

In a world where art and painting, have completely lost their primitive character of something "sacred," my paintings are not intended to have any history or leave any "message", however, it is my intention that each of them is latent paradox and contradiction, the conclusion of what I consider "human" through form, color and texture.
